(WAWA, ON) - On February 18, 2022, at approximately 11:15 p.m., members of the Superior East Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a domestic dispute on Mission Road in Wawa.   

 

As a result of the investigation, a 50-year-old person, from Wawa, was arrested and charged with the following:

 

• Break, Enter a dwelling house with intent to commit indictable offence, contrary to section 348(1)(a) of the Criminal Code (CC), and
• Uttering Threats - Cause death or Bodily Harm, contrary to section 264.1(1)(a) of the CC (Two Counts).

 

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in April 2022, in Wawa.
